Pudsey Show Entry Form NOW OPEN FOR ONLINE ENTRIES

Looking to entertain the kids over the holidays? Then why not encourage them to create a masterpiece to enter at our 93rd Summer Show!

Everyone in the family has a chance to win prizes and certificates. Your younger ones and their older siblings can make and bake biscuits, create a flower arrangement, or decorate a flower pot to their own design.

Of course, entries from parents are also welcome!

  • Try our new Novelty Classes. Cut any single flower head from your garden. Or do you have the Most Amusingly Shaped Vegetable or Fruit?
  • For non-gardeners, there are prizes for home produce and baking.
  • You can enter your jams, home made apple pie, tray bake or chocolate brownies - maybe even try making the best-ever "Pudsey Carrot Cake", to the recipe supplied?
  • Plus there are classes for handicrafts, embroidery, knitting, photography and drawings.

Children can enter for FREE, and for adults it's only 50p per item (up to a maximum of £2, after which further entries are free). Just make sure you register your entries at the Pudsey United Reformed Church Hall the evening before the show (Friday 4th September, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm). Or save time by using this handy online form to register!

Deadline for online entries - 10.00pm Friday 4th September 2015. Saturday morning is reserved for staging of exhibits only.

Parents - why not encourage your kids to take part?

Exhibits may be staged during the following times;

  • FRIDAY 5th September 2014 6:45 pm. to 8:45 pm.
  • SATURDAY 6th September 2014 8:30 am. to 11:15 am.

So that we can ensure plenty of time for the judges to evaluate your entries properly, the hall will be cleared of all persons, other than judges, at 11.30 prompt on Show Day.

STAGING TIMES

1.) Registering to Enter

Because we need to work out how much space is needed to display hundreds of different items across 144 different classes, you can't just turn up with your entry on the day of the show.

That's why entering requires you to register first. You tell us your name and the classes you want to enter - we give you a ticket with your entry number (one for each item) which you need to display next to your exhibit. This also anonymises your entry, to make judging completely fair.

You can register your entry in person at Pudsey Leisure Centre the night before the show from 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm. Or you can enter online at this page and pick up your entry number tickets from the Show Secretary when you arrive to stage your exhibits.

2.) Staging your exhibits

Once you have your entry number, you can set out - or "stage" - your exhibits on the appropriate table. Each class will be clearly marked with a number and description. Show Stewards will be on hand to help if you have any questions.
